Role Description:
This is a full-time remote role for a Finance Manager. The Finance Manager will oversee financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting to leadership. The role includes managing month-end and quarter-end close activities, reviewing financial statements, monitoring cash flow, and supporting compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. The Finance Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate business performance, develop financial models for new initiatives, and recommend cost optimization and revenue growth strategies. Additional responsibilities may include supporting audit processes, improving financial systems and workflows, and mentoring junior team members to ensure high-quality financial operations.
Qualifications:
Strong skills in financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance reporting.
Experience with financial modeling, scenario analysis, and data-driven decision support for business initiatives.
Proficiency in accounting principles, financial statements, and month-end/quarter-end close processes.
Comfort with financial systems and tools (e.g., Excel or spreadsheets, ERP/accounting software, BI/reporting tools).Ability to present complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders and leadership.
Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA) are a plus.
Prior experience in a finance or accounting management role; experience in a technology or growth-oriented company is beneficial.
