Work Environment: The position is based in a supportive and collaborative outpatient clinic atmosphere, where your contributions play a vital role in our commitment to patient care. Our facility, situated in the beautiful Punta Gorda region, allows for a flexible work-life balance, with a standard schedule of Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. You will work onsite to engage directly with patients in their homes, enabling a hands-on approach to therapy that significantly enhances recovery.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' functional abilities and needs, establishing individualized treatment plans. Deliver one-on-one therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to address patients' mobility issues and rehabilitation goals. Maintain a manageable caseload to ensure high-quality care, dedicating adequate time and attention to each patient. Develop and implement innovative therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient's unique background, preferences, and lifestyles. Monitor and document patient progress regularly, employing electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically Web PT, for detailed record-keeping. Advocate for non-surgical treatment options that reduce reliance on medications, focusing on promoting a healthy lifestyle through improved strength and flexibility. Ensure seamless collaboration with multidisciplinary teams of healthcare professionals, sharing insights to enhance patient outcomes. Motivate and educate patients about their treatment journey, empowering them to take charge of their health. Patient Population / Client FocusThe primary focus of your practice will be on outpatient orthopedic patients who require personalized rehabilitation services. You'll work with a diverse range of individuals, each presenting unique challenges and goals. From athletes recovering from injuries to seniors aiming to improve their mobility, your role will be critical in providing compassionate and effective care.

Qualifications: A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) must be completed and a current, unrestricted license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida is required. Must uphold an impeccable professional record with no history of sanctions or board proceedings. Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a comprehensive understanding of individualized rehabilitation exercises. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive patient relationships. Ability to proficiently use technology and specialized software, including EMR systems like Web PT, for accurate documentation.

Preferred Experience: A background in outpatient orthopedic therapy, with strong experience leading successful rehabilitation plans. Passion for continuous education and staying current with the latest developments in therapeutic techniques.

Compensation and Benefits: The salary for this role ranges between USD 100,000 - 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
