Data Center Construction Manager

Manage construction projects for new and existing data centers, representing AWS on site and overseeing contractors. Own project scope, quality, schedule, and budget while coordinating bids, design reviews, construction documentation, quality control, troubleshooting, and project closeout. Oversee construction project scope, quality, schedule, and budget for new builds and capital projects. Interface with general contractors during bidding, award, execution, and closeout. Develop project scopes and requests for proposals; evaluate bids and negotiate with contractors. Review electrical and mechanical designs for constructability and manage construction documentation. Monitor quality, financial performance, invoices, change orders, and key construction metrics. Coordinate troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for equipment failures with internal and external teams.
