Senior Accountant - Operations Accounting & Reporting

What You'll Do: This is a hands-on role at the intersection of operations and accounting. You'll own the complete cycle of operations accounting - tracking production and associated costs, managing inventory, analyzing variances, and reporting on contractual arrangements. You'll play a critical role in the ERP implementation, particularly in designing accounting workflows that support both internal and external reporting.

Required: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field. Minimum five years of accounting experience, including cost accounting, inventory accounting, or operations accounting. Strong knowledge of production accounting, standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory accounting. Advanced Excel skills (PowerQuery, pivot tables, XLOOKUP, index-match, financial modeling).Comfort working with large datasets, SQL queries, and analytical tools (e.g., Power BI).Excellent attention to detail and strong reconciliation skills. Clear communication skills and fluent written and spoken English. Ability to take ownership, work independently, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.

Preferred: CPA or equivalent accounting credential. Experience with revenue recognition (ASC 606) for complex or contingent arrangements. Background in manufacturing, footwear, consumer goods, or capital-intensive industries. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Business Central, NetSuite, or similar ERP.Experience designing accounting structures, cost allocations, and/or chart-of-accounts frameworks. Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).Experience supporting ERP implementations or system migrations.
