Cardiac Telemetry Registered Nurse

As an RN Cardiac Telemetry at HCA Healthcare, you’ll provide compassionate, evidence-based care to adult cardiac patients requiring continuous rhythm monitoring. You will interpret telemetry strips, perform focused cardiovascular assessments, administer cardiac medications and drips, and respond rapidly to changes in patient status. In collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, you’ll coordinate individualized care plans, educate patients and families, and uphold rigorous safety and quality standards. Continuously monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry rhythms, promptly reporting changes. Deliver evidence-based nursing care to cardiac telemetry patients in an acute care setting. Administer medications, cardiac drips, and treatments safely per provider orders and protocols. Perform accurate assessments, document in the EHR, and communicate changes to the care team. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to develop and update care plans. Respond to cardiac and medical emergencies, participating in rapid response and code situations. Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, telemetry, medications, and discharge plans. Ensure adherence to safety, infection prevention, and quality standards on the telemetry unit. Precept or mentor new staff as needed, supporting a culture of teamwork and learning. Participate in continuous improvement, training, and professional development offered by HCA Healthcare.
