Job Description Activities Director
The Milton Home, a leading healthcare community in South Bend, Indiana, is seeking a dedicated Activities Directorto join our team!
As an integral part of our care community, the Activities Director will design and implement engaging recreational activities that promote socialization, entertainment, and personal fulfillment for our residents. Responsibilities:
Develop and lead a variety of recreational activities, including arts and crafts, fitness classes, and entertainment events Collaborate with the care team to create personalized activity plans for each resident Recruit and supervise volunteers and staff to assist with activity programming Conduct regular assessments to ensure activities meet resident needs and preferences Foster connections between residents, families, and the community
Requirements:
3 years of experience as an Activities Director or in a related field High School Diplomaor equivalent required; degree in Recreation Therapy or related field preferred Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and adapt to changing needs
