Hospitalist NP/PA in NE Connecticut About 1hr From Hartford / 45 Mins From Providence Great opportunity for a Hospitalist NP/PA to join a well-respected healthcare facility in Northeastern CT about 1hr from Hartford, CT, 45 mins from Providence, RI and 30 mins to Worcester, MA.Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) Full-time, approximately 40 hours a week (5 x 8hrs shifts a week) Shifts are 8-hour day shifts (7a-3p or 12p-8p, will be working both) No block scheduling; approximately 20-21 shifts per month Will work at least one weekend a month (Will have days off during the week if working the weekend) Typically see approx. 12 patients in an 8-hour shift It will be a mix of rounding and admissions Will be seeing ages 16+Open ICU. Hospitalist admit patients to the ICU.No procedures are required Seeking candidates with at least 2-3 years Hospitalist NP/PA experience Hospitalists will attend to codes and rapid response to the floor but not to the EDThe facility has Cardiology, GI, Orthopedics, General Surgery, and Urology on call.
