Estimator - Heavy Civil

Key Responsibilities: Develop detailed estimates for heavy highway, bridge, and civil construction projects Perform quantity takeoffs and review plans and specifications for constructability Solicit, review, and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids Prepare bids, proposals, and value-engineering options Assist in risk assessment and recommend cost-saving strategies Coordinate with Project Managers and field teams to confirm scope and constructability

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred) 5+ years estimating experience in heavy civil, highway, or bridge projects Strong ability to read plans, specifications, and geotechnical reports Proficient with estimating software (e.g., Heavy Bid, Bluebeam, AGTEK) and Microsoft Office Knowledge of production rates, construction methods, and DOT standards
