Brake Press Operator

WHAT YOU'LL DO: • Set up and operate a brake press using production prints. • Operate forklifts and complete production and quality paperwork. • Report completed jobs, request new assignments, and perform other assigned duties. • Inspect parts and use gauges such as calipers and micrometers to check quality. • Interpret and respond to statistical process control (SPC) charts. • Identify and report production and quality problems. • Participate in corrective and preventive actions and continuous improvement projects. • Follow safety procedures, use safety devices, and maintain a clean work area.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Experience with Bystronic equipment. • Ability to read and write English and understand verbal and written training materials in English. • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • At least 2 years of brake press experience. • High school diploma or GED. • Forklift certification. • Experience with SPC control charts, calipers, and micrometers. • Experience with continuous improvement projects and knowledge of safety procedures.
