Senior Audit Manager - Construction
Location: Portland, OR (other West Coast offices considered)A top-20 CPA and advisory firm is seeking a Senior Audit Manager focused on construction clients. Portland, Oregon is among the listed offices (other West Coast offices also considered). The role leads multiple assurance engagements, owns a book of clients and coaches managers and seniors.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead multiple audit, review and other assurance engagements from planning through delivery
  • Serve as primary point of contact for an assigned book of clients
  • Own technical quality, performing final review of workpapers and financial statements
  • Manage engagement economics including budgets, WIP, billing and realization
  • Research and document technical positions
  • Supervise and delegate across all staff levels
  • Coach and develop associates, seniors and managers
  • Contribute to proposals and new business wins
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related fieldCPA required
  • Significant public accounting audit experience at a manager or senior manager level
  • Construction industry audit experience preferred
  • Strong client relationship and business development skills
