Role Overview:
The Compliance Coordinator is responsible for supporting regulatory, quality, and market compliance activities for Dolce & Gabbana Beauty products (Makeup) in the Americas. The role works closely with Global Quality and Regulatory teams to ensure compliance with applicable standards, processes, and policies for product development, registration, distribution, and post-market activities. This position requires an understanding of cosmetics regulations, FDA requirements, and cross-functional collaboration with Logistics, Operations, Customer Service, and Global teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the local compliance strategy in alignment with global regulatory guidance. Manage FDA product listings, submissions, and maintenance. Support Serious Adverse Event (SAE) reporting and record keeping. Support audit preparation, reporting, and follow-up actions. Ensure packaging and labeling compliance for the Americas in collaboration with Global teams. Serve as a compliance point of contact with 3PL partners, warehouses, transportation, and customer service teams. Support product complaint tracking, investigations, and timely escalation with appropriate stakeholders. Monitor and report KPIs for the US Distribution Center and broader Americas region. Assist with regulatory risk assessments related to new or changing regulations, requirements, or policies. Ensure documentation compliance for import and export operations. Support Americas compliance claims activities, managing issues through resolution in coordination with Global teams. Communicate and monitor regulatory, registration, and quality requirements across the Americas. Maintain Registration Status for the Americas, acting as liaison between customers and Global teams. Coordinate compliance documentation requests related to artwork, product development, and other functional needs. Support incorporation of Americas regulatory requirements during Global CPS and product development processes. Collaborate closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to maintain strong compliance partnerships. Perform product inspections as required. Maintain knowledge of certification requirements and related records. Ensure all compliance activities are executed accurately, efficiently, and within required timelines. Perform additional duties as needed to support business continuity during the maternity leave period.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, Operations Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Minimum 2–3 years of experience in cosmetics compliance, regulatory affairs, or quality roles. Experience with FDA registration and cosmetic regulatory requirements. Industry experience and relevant certifications are a plus. Working knowledge of regulatory requirements with the ability to interpret and apply compliance guidance with appropriate support. Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI, Anaplan, and SAP is a plus. Ability to travel up to 15%, as needed. Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Languages: Fluent in English; Spanish and/or Italian is a plus.
