Requirements:
- Active RN license in state or Compact RN license
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Critical Care/Intensive Care UnitBLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications
- Experience with balloon pump, CRRT, Impella, open hearts
- Comfortable conducting own codes and drawing own labs
- Ability to float to PCU/CCU and all inpatient units such as Med/Surg, Med/Tele, Acute/Tele, and EDResponsibilitiesProvide direct nursing care to critically ill patients
- Monitor and assess patient conditions
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient management
- Educate patients and families on care and treatment plans
- Document patient care activities and updates in electronic medical records
