Experience: Previous mental health clinical work preferred

Hourly Pay: $75.00 – $90.00 (DOE and licensure)

What You'll Do: Conduct mental health assessments, interviews, and diagnoses for individuals in custody Provide psychotherapy through individual and group therapy sessions Collaborate with facility staff to coordinate patient care Maintain thorough documentation of services, progress, and treatment plans Participate in team conferences, case reviews, and mental health training Offer consultation to staff and external agencies concerning mental health concerns Support efforts to reduce recidivism and promote well-being within the correctional facility

Required: Active, unrestricted LCSW or LPC license in Alaska Knowledge of mental health principles, DSM-V criteria, and therapeutic techniques Strong interpersonal skills, tact, and professionalism

Preferred: Previous work in correctional or institutional settings Experience with behavioral health treatment and case management Ability to adapt to team-oriented and fast-paced environments About the Assignment This role involves providing long-term mental health services within a correctional facility, supporting individuals experiencing mental illness.
