Role Overview:
The Technical Lead will serve as the primary technical leader for pharmacy applications and related integrations.
This is a hands-on role responsible for solution architecture, application support, system enhancements, integrations, troubleshooting, and production support.
The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, development teams, vendors, and operational partners to ensure the stability and success of pharmacy-related technology platforms and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the technical lead for pharmacy applications and associated technology platforms.
Lead solution design, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and production support activities.
Manage integrations between pharmacy platforms, CRM solutions, ERP systems, middleware technologies, shipping vendors, and external partners.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, QA teams, vendors, and development teams to deliver enhancements and releases.
Drive defect resolution, system stability, performance optimization, and operational excellence initiatives.
Ensure compliance with healthcare, pharmacy, and data privacy regulations.
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to team members and vendor resources.
Support application enhancements, integrations, and ongoing operational support across the pharmacy ecosystem.
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of overall IT experience.8+ years of technical leadership experience.4+ years of pharmacy, specialty pharmacy, healthcare application, or comparable healthcare technology experience.
Hands-on experience supporting pharmacy management platforms.
Experience configuring and developing within pharmacy application environments.
Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, including patient enrollment, prescription processing, and order management.
Experience with Salesforce, APIs, enterprise integrations, and middleware technologies.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and technical initiatives.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
Experience with specialty pharmacy operations.
SAP integration experience or knowledge.
Middleware integration expertise.
Experience with healthcare interoperability solutions.
Knowledge of eRx workflows and pharmacy technology ecosystems.
Experience with Agile delivery, DevOps practices, release management, and production support.
Background supporting patient support programs or pharmaceutical industry environments.
