Computer Systems Design ServicesSecurity Systems Services (except Locksmiths)Engineering ServicesSpotlight is seeking to hire an IT Security Engineering Lead for a 6 month contract-to-hire, Hybrid (2-3 days in office) role in Greenwood Village, CO.Our client is looking for someone with experience in progressive cybersecurity, identity and access management, and leading security assessments or audit remediations. The role will involve balancing hands-on security operations with strategic cybersecurity roadmap planning, leading an assessment, and coordinating with third-party MSP partners.
Important Note: This is an 80/20 hands-on vs. strategic position.
Key Skills:
5+ years of progressive cybersecurity experience, including 2+ years leading a security program/team or major security initiatives with enterprise scope. Broad, hands-on knowledge across multiple security domains, including: Identity & Access Management (IAM) / Privileged Access concepts (Azure, Entra ID, Conditional Access)Endpoint security and modern detection/response practices Network security and secure connectivity patterns Application security fundamentals and secure architecture review Data security and privacy fundamentals Security assessments and remediation
Preferred Skills:
Masters Degree, Cyber Security or similar. CISSPCriminal Background Check, Employment and Education Verification required for employment consideration. No 3rd parties or subcontractors will be considered.
