Seeking a creative and enthusiastic Photo Editor - U.K. to work full-time remotely, responsible for curating visuals through photo illustration, sourcing and optimizing images, and designing infographics to enhance storytelling while collaborating with the editorial team.
Key Responsibilities:
Create inventive photo illustrations that engage readers and capture stories
Source, edit, and optimize images for daily stories and features across the site
Design and produce infographics, charts, and maps to clarify complex topics
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years of experience in photo editing within a digital media environment
Expertise in Adobe Photoshop and proficiency in other Adobe Creative Cloud software
Strong visual literacy with an eye for detail, composition, and color
Familiarity with current events, pop culture, and American and global politics
Understanding of journalistic ethics and standards
