Location: 975 N Freedom St, Ravenna, OH 44266 Shift/Hours: 2nd Shift, 3pm - 11pm, Mon - Sat, flexibility for Sunday Pay: $35.98/hr, plus shift diff (2nd shift: $0.65/hr, 3rd shift: $0.75/hr) Union Plant. Training will take place during day time hours.

Benefits: Comprehensive health and welfare benefits eligibility on first day employed The Opportunity: Performs routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures on electrical and mechanical systems involving production equipment and plant systems including PLCs.

Responsibilities include: Ensure production machinery functions correctly and efficiently. Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic, compressor, and vacuum systems. Work on motors, conveyors, AC/DC, and PLC troubleshooting. Will work with steam and boiler controls, and mechanical power drives. Perform predictive and preventative maintenance activities. Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures. Complete Timely and accurate paperwork. What you need to succeed: Strong Electrical and Mechanical aptitude required with extensive troubleshooting experience. Experience with Troubleshooting in a Production/Manufacturing Environment. Operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery including motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, industrial / electronic controls and power transmission systems. Ability to install and set up both A/C and D/C drives. Able to install and troubleshoot basic 3 phase motor control circuits. Knowledge of the various types of sensors and limit switches. A good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. PLC troubleshooting and problem-solving ability preferred. Must be able to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings. Must be fully computer literate with Microsoft environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently in a mature and professional manner. Ability to work overtime. Basic mathematical skills and basic technology/computer skills.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Military training and/or Technical School preferred. The pay rate for this position is $35.98 hr depending on your role, level and location.
