Packaging Technician

Tasks: Package flower products accurately and effectively. Adhere to direction with ensuring that production goals are met on a daily basis. Using automated operating equipment to complete tasks. Overseeing the quality of products produced daily. Full understanding of the quality standards at HHGReport quality issues to management. Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work environment. When required, accurately produce quality acceptable labels for packages. Maintain a reliable attendance record. Communicate effectively between the Packaging, Kitchen, and other HHG departments. Assisting with gathering of daily production materials and inventory. Boxing/case packaging of packaged units. Assisting with break coverages. Understanding of all automated operating equipment required. Strict adherence to safety procedures and company policies. Have read and understand all S.O.P's pertaining to job duties. Qualifications: 1+ year of relevant work experience. Computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point).Possess a can-do attitude, resourceful, action oriented, reliable, and a team player. Excellent communications skills as applied to internal teams Motivated with flexibility and adaptability. Possess a sense of urgency, problem-solving, and organizational skills with great attention to detail. Over 21 with ability to obtain an MA agent registration card; Ability to meet minimum physical requirements to work in a production and retail environment.
