Occupational Medicine Physician

Schedule: MondayFriday (no nights, weekends, or holidays)

Hours: Standard business hours

Location: Clovis, CA (future expansion to Visalia & Bakersfield)

Start Date: As soon as the best candidate is identified

Compensation: $300,000$500,000 annually (DOE)

Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time

Key Responsibilities: Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic pain and work-related injuries Provide functional assessments, treatment planning, and impairment documentation Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team (pain, neuro, behavioral health, PT/OT) Communicate with external stakeholders including attorneys, employers, and case managers Participate in a structured, specialized training model for workers' compensation care Focus on long-term functional outcomes and return-to-work planning Top Candidate ProfileBoard Certified/Eligible in Occupational Medicine, Pain Management, Internal Medicine, or related field Active or eligible California medical license Experience in Occupational Medicine or Pain Management preferred Willingness to learn workers' compensation systems and a unique chronic care model Strong communication skills and patient-centered approach Comfortable working independently in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment Preference for candidates living in or relocating to the Central Valley region (non-commutable roles are not ideal) BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with match Paid time off and holidays Continuing education stipend Licensure reimbursement Relocation assistance Bonus potential What They're Looking ForOccupational Medicine or Pain Management background (Internal Medicine also considered) Comfortable working independently but open to structured learning Strong communication skills with patients and external stakeholders (attorneys, employers, case managers) Interest in multidisciplinary, tertiary-level pain care Preference for candidates based in or relocating to the Central Valley (non-commuter arrangements have not been successful long-term) To apply or learn more, please submit your resume through Welltech Partners.
