Description: American Traveler is hiring a Rehab RN for an inpatient rehabilitation hospital, requiring an active WI or compact RN license and 2 years of experience. Details Work in a 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital (IRF) within the Rehab Nursing unit Patient population includes individuals recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury Night shift schedule from 6:00 PM to 7:30 AMEvery other weekend rotation required Must call in as soon as possible or at least 3 hours before shift start if unable to work Uses Epic EHR system
Requirements:
  • Active RN license (WI or Compact) required
  • High school diploma required 2 years of RN experience requiredExperience in rehab and med-surg settings requiredExperience with skilled nursing preferred
  • Comfortable treating common diagnoses such as stroke, amputation, and med-surg conditionsAHA certifications required
  • Strong customer service skills
Additional Information:
  • Provide nursing care within a CARF-accredited inpatient rehab program specializing in stroke, comprehensive integrated rehabilitation, and amputation care
  • Deliver individualized, intensive rehabilitation services as part of a multidisciplinary care team
  • Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel assignment
  • Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
  • Must not be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis
