Position: Seasonal Travel RN - Pediatrics Step Down Unit
Shift: 07:00 - 19:00
Location: Denver, COUnit Information:36 Private rooms with parent sleeping accommodations
Approximately 60 dedicated staff members Staffing Structure: Day Shift: 1 Charge RN (patient free), 1-3 PCTs (CNA's), Clinical Nurse Coordinator available 4 days/week Night Shift: 1 Charge RN (patient free), 1-2 PCTs, Clinical Nurse Coordinator available as staffing allows Patient Care Ratios: Step Down Patients (spinal fusions, chest tubes, high flow oxygen): 1:3Basic Care Patients: 1:4Equipment & Technology: Phillips MonitorsEMR: Meditech Hiring Profile:
Must Have: Minimum 1-year current Pediatric RN experienceBLS & NRP certifications Comfortable with high flow oxygen, spinal fusions, and chest tubes
Preferred: Prior Meditech experience Typical Procedures:
  • NGTs, Foleys, TP Tubes, PIVs, Phlebotomy
  • Accuvein device available
  • Rarely: Lumbar Punctures
