Surgical Services Nurse Manager

Leads daily operations for a high-volume surgical services department, overseeing clinical resources, staff, quality and regulatory compliance. Integrates clinical, human resource and financial data into operational decisions and promotes evidence-based nursing care. Requires a current North Carolina RN license, BLS certification, and five years of recent nursing experience, including relevant hospital experience and demonstrated leadership skills. Oversee daily operations of the designated clinical area with a co-manager. Allocate resources to support efficient, effective and safe nursing care. Promote quality, compassionate care based on current standards of practice. Use clinical, human resource and financial data to support decisions. Promote research and integrate evidence-based practices into clinical and operational processes. Ensure compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
