AI Product Engineer – Agentic AI | Healthcare

We're hiring an AI Product Engineer to build the next generation of agentic AI systems transforming healthcare. You'll work at the intersection of applied AI, full-stack engineering, and clinical workflows, building an agentic clinical platform that helps clinicians make better decisions and deliver more effective care to patients with chronic conditions. This is an opportunity to join a seed-stage, well-funded healthcare AI startup where you'll have significant ownership, work directly with leadership and clinicians, and take products from early prototypes to production. Build and scale agentic AI systems involving LLM orchestration, tool calling, context management, memory, and multi-step workflows. Develop full-stack product capabilities across backend services, APIs, and user-facing applications. Prototype new AI-powered clinical experiences and take successful concepts into production. Design LLM evaluations, regression tests, and quality benchmarks to measure reliability, safety, and performance. Build observability and monitoring systems to track model behavior, tool calls, errors, and workflow outcomes. Develop human-in-the-loop workflows that ensure AI systems operate safely in clinical environments. Collaborate with clinicians, product leaders, and engineers to translate real-world healthcare needs into reliable AI products.5+ years of product engineering experience, with a strong focus on LLM-based systems.~ Hands-on experience building and deploying agentic AI or LLM-powered systems in production.~ Strong proficiency in Python and TypeScript, across backend and product development.~ Previous experience building software in healthcare, ideally involving provider-facing products or clinical workflows.~ Experience with LLM evaluations, regression testing, or AI observability.~ Experience building agent harnesses, workflow engines, or coding-agent infrastructure. Familiarity with RAG, retrieval systems, APIs, and modern agentic AI frameworks. Experience designing human-in-the-loop AI workflows.
