Offset Digital Bindery Operator

Location: Houston, TX

Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Job Duties: Operate, adjust, troubleshoot, and maintain bindery equipment to produce high-quality printed materials Review work orders and job specifications to ensure accurate production and timely completion Perform finishing tasks including cutting, folding, trimming, binding, packaging, and preparing orders for shipment Update job status information in company systems and communicate production progress as needed Maintain equipment and perform routine housekeeping to ensure a clean, safe work environment Operate pallet jacks and assist with material movement throughout the facility Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production goals while following all safety procedures

Education Requirements: High school diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications: Previous bindery, printing, manufacturing, production, or finishing experience preferred Experience operating bindery equipment such as cutters, folders, trimmers, gluers, and binders preferred Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues Ability to read work orders, follow instructions, and maintain production standards Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills Physical Capabilities Physical requirements vary by assignment and will be discussed during the hiring process. Candidates should be able to safely perform the essential duties of the position with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift Ability to safely operate bindery and material-handling equipment, including pallet jacks Strong attention to detail while maintaining quality and productivity standards
