Noratel is looking for a hands-on, results-driven Sales Director to lead our commercial team across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. What You'll Do: You'll lead an established North American commercial team of 2 Sales Managers and 4 Key Customer Representatives, balancing team leadership with direct involvement in business development.
Your responsibilities will include: Lead and develop your team: Coach, motivate, and support sales professionals to achieve revenue and growth targets. Drive new business: Identify opportunities, develop prospects, and build relationships with OEM customers across North America. Grow key accounts: Strengthen existing customer partnerships while identifying opportunities to expand business. Build and execute sales plans: Develop practical strategies to grow revenue, expand market presence, and improve profitability. Stay close to the business: Participate in customer meetings, negotiations, pricing decisions, and major sales opportunities. Manage sales performance: Maintain a strong pipeline, deliver accurate forecasts, and drive effective CRM utilization. Collaborate globally: Work with Engineering, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, and international colleagues to deliver customer solutions. Role requires ~30% travel
What We're Looking For: We're looking for a commercially driven sales professional with a demonstrated ability to grow business and lead teams.
Required Qualifications:
  • 10 or more years of progressive B2B industrial sales experience, preferably involving technical or engineered products.3 or more years of experience leading, coaching, and developing sales teams.
  • Demonstrated success in new business development, account growth, and achieving sales targets.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles and building relationships with technical and commercial decision-makers.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • A hands-on leadership style with the ability to balance strategic thinking and day-to-day execution.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Experience That Would Be a Plus:
  • Sales experience involving electrical or electronic components.
  • Familiarity with transformers, inductors, chokes, or other power magnetic components.
  • Experience working with customers or teams across multiple countries.
  • Experience selling engineered or customized solutions to OEM customers.

Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $130,000–$145,000 annually, based on location and experience
