Alex Hanna Law, P.A. is seeking a motivated Immigration Attorney to join our growing Immigration Department in Miami.
This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants to strengthen their immigration practice, gain meaningful courtroom experience, and take an active role in representing individuals and families navigating complex immigration matters.
Our attorneys work directly with clients, appear before immigration courts, develop case strategies, and handle matters from preparation through resolution. You will be supported by an experienced team of attorneys, case managers, legal assistants, and administrative professionals while having the opportunity to take real ownership of your cases.

Our Immigration Department represents individuals and families in matters before USCIS, EOIR, ICE, and other immigration agencies, with a strong focus on removal defense, family-based immigration, asylum, and related proceedings.
What You'll Do:
As an Immigration Attorney, you will manage and develop a caseload involving matters such as:
Removal and deportation defense
Master Calendar and Individual Hearings
Bond hearings
Asylum and withholding of removal
Family-based petitions and adjustment of status
Waivers and other forms of immigration relief
Motions, briefs, appeals, and legal research
Client consultations and case strategy development
Preparation of clients and witnesses for hearings and interviews
Representation before immigration courts and government agencies
You will work closely with our immigration team to develop effective case strategies, maintain strong client communication, meet critical deadlines, and provide high-quality representation throughout each matter.
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for an attorney who is confident, motivated, organized, and genuinely interested in building their career in immigration law.
Qualifications include: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Active license and good standing in any U.S. state
Immigration law experience, particularly in removal defense and/or family-based immigration
Courtroom, hearing, or litigation experience strongly preferred
Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills
Ability to manage deadlines and multiple active matters
Strong client communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Spanish fluency or proficiency is highly preferred
Experience with asylum, removal proceedings, bond hearings, waivers, USCIS matters, or EOIR proceedings is especially valuable.
