Telehealth Licensed Mental Health Counselor - Full-Time Opportunity

Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough assessments of clients using a variety of evidence-based methods to understand their unique emotional and mental health needs. Develop and implement customized treatment approaches in collaboration with clients, setting achievable goals tailored to their specific circumstances. Provide education on mental health management techniques to clients and their families, empowering them with knowledge and resources to support their journey. Engage in regular collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, and primary care providers, to deliver holistic care. Stay informed on the latest advancements in mental health practices, integrating new knowledge into therapeutic techniques to enhance client care. Patient Population / Client FocusYou will be working with a diverse range of clients, including adolescents, adults, and families navigating various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and relationship issues. Your ability to connect and communicate with clients from various backgrounds will be crucial in fostering trust and encouraging engagement in treatment.

Qualifications: A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required. An active New York State license as an LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC.Exceptional interpersonal skills coupled with a strong proficiency in using technology for telehealth practices.

Preferred Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience providing mental health counseling in a clinical setting. Familiarity with telehealth technologies and online therapy platforms. Experience with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Compensation and Benefits: The annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $95,000.
