NYSD is licensed by the New York State Education Department BPSS and accredited by Middle States Accreditation - CESS.The Admissions & Recruitment Coordinator Position New York School of Design (NYSD) is looking for an ambitious, high-energy Admissions & Recruitment Coordinator. In this role, you will lead our student recruitment efforts and guide prospective students from their very first inquiry all the way to their first day on campus. You’ll be speaking the language of fashion every day so a formal degree or training in fashion is preferred. Key Recruitment & Admissions Responsibilities: Actively engage, nurture, and convert leads into enrolled students using our CRM (HubSpot).Conduct 1-on-1 advisement sessions and campus tours. Guide applicants through the portfolio review, application, and enrollment process with clarity and momentum. Plan and host open houses, high school visits, and showcase NYSD student life and elevate our brand presence. Create engaging content (social media, student spotlights, newsletters) that highlights campus culture and attracts top prospective talent. Serve as a trusted advisor and mentor to enrolled students, offering academic guidance, feedback, and encouragement throughout their studies at NYSD.Maintain accurate record-keeping (BPSS, VA, FAFSA) to ensure compliance. Qualifications & SkillsHold a degree or formal training in Fashion (Design, Merchandising, Marketing, or a related field) and understand the drive, ambitions, and creative mindset of fashion students. Have direct experience in sales, recruitment, lead nurturing, or high-touch customer service and now how to build instant rapport, overcome objections, and drive results. Experience working with CRMs to track, follow up with, and manage leads. HubSpot experience is highly preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Organized, proactive, and meticulous about follow-through
