We are considering applications from sales professionals who have experience in commercial furniture & architectural products (eg. HNI, Steelcase, Haworth, Miller Knoll, Haworth, KI, Global, Kimball, DIRTT). This is a leadership role for someone who has the experience, and feels they are ready, to lead a sales team; setting strategy, coaching reps, and driving growth across furniture and architectural product lines. While you'll stay close to the business through joining client meetings and helping close key deal, this is fundamentally a management role focused on developing people and scaling revenue. Your performance will be measured not by how many deals you have closed, but by overall company growth. Our client is a commercial interiors provider operating throughout Texas, working as a distribution partner for leading brands in prefabricated architectural systems and commercial furniture. They offer a complete package so clients can specify everything from a single source.
Responsibilities: Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales representatives across furniture and architectural product lines Set sales strategy, targets, and territory plans in partnership with senior leadership Own team performance, forecasting, and pipeline health Join client meetings and key pitches to support the team and help close strategic deals Partner with design, operations, and leadership to ensure the sales team is set up to win Report on team performance and growth against goals
Skills and Experience: Proven experience managing and developing a sales team, ideally in furniture, architectural products, or a related commercial/design industry Track record of driving revenue growth through team leadership, not just individual selling Strong coaching and training instincts — able to develop reps at different experience levels Comfortable in front of clients and confident supporting the team in high-stakes meetings Strategic thinker who can build process and structure around a growing team Excellent communication and organizational leadership skills Benefits and Culture$150,000–$200,000 base A true leadership seat — shape the sales strategy and team culture for a growing market Autonomy to build processes, hire, and develop the team your way Great health benefits, PTO, and standard company holidays An organization ready to invest in strong sales leadership as it scales
