Training is available for someone who is willing to learn.
About the Position: This position combines customer service, office work, monument design support, and cemetery visits. You will help customers with inquiries, coordinate designs and approvals, and keep projects moving toward completion. The ideal candidate works well with others, stays organized, and can manage time-sensitive tasks independently. Work Schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Some flexibility may be available, but the position must provide coverage for customers. Occasionally, an earlier start or later finish may be needed. The role currently includes one day per week at our St. George, Delaware office.
Key Responsibilities: Customer Service and Office Support Respond to customer questions and sales inquiries by phone, email, and in person with compassion and professionalism. Provide updates on monument orders, foundations, permits, cemetery lot locations, and pricing. Enter and maintain accurate customer and project information. Use Dropbox, Microsoft Word, and Outlook for daily office tasks. Training will be provided for Monu Works. Maintain a professional appearance and business casual attire in the office and when meeting with customers. Adjust priorities as customer needs and project schedules change. Design and Production Support Create monument design mockups and blueprints using project notes. Training will be provided for Monu Vision and Gerber Omega software. Email designs and pricing to customers, coordinate requested changes, and follow up by phone or email to obtain approvals. Print stencils and remove the unwanted stencil material, a process called "weeding."Maintain the plotter used to produce stencils and keep related supplies stocked. Follow projects through each stage and complete assigned tasks on time. Cemetery Visits and Travel Drive to cemeteries throughout the tri-state area using highways and local roads. A company vehicle is provided. Take accurate measurements using a yardstick. Work outdoors year-round and navigate uneven cemetery ground, including bending and squatting as needed. Work on-site at our St. George, Delaware office approximately one day per week. Travel costs, tolls, and fuel are reimbursed.
Skills and Qualifications: Strong communication skills in person, by phone, and in writing. Comfort using computers and learning new software. Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management. Dependability, punctuality, and the ability to meet deadlines. Ability to manage several tasks and follow a project from start to finish. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Creativity, self-motivation, and a willingness to learn. Ability to perform the travel and outdoor duties described above.
