Job Description Job Description EXECUTIVE CHEF
Location: Canonsburg, PAWe are seeking an experienced, creative, and hands-on Executive Chef to lead culinary and kitchen operations for two new restaurant concepts opening in Canonsburg, PA.The concepts will offer a combination of breakfast, lunch, and small-plates dinner service, giving the Executive Chef an opportunity to work across different menus and styles of service. This position is ideal for a chef who excels in both culinary creativity and restaurant operations-someone who can lead a team, develop and execute menus, maintain exceptional quality, control costs, and help build strong kitchen operations from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee culinary and kitchen operations for both restaurant concepts
  • Develop, refine, and execute menus for multiple styles of service
  • Maintain exceptional standards for food quality, presentation, and consistency
  • Recruit, train, lead, schedule, and develop kitchen staff
  • Manage food costs, inventory, purchasing, ordering, and vendor relationships
  • Establish efficient kitchen systems, prep procedures, and service standards
  • Maintain sanitation, food safety, and cleanliness standards
  • Collaborate closely with ownership and management on menu development, operations, special events, and future growth
  • Provide hands-on leadership during prep and service
What We're Looking For:
  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef, Chef de Cuisine, Kitchen Manager, or similar culinary leadership role
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Experience managing food costs, inventory, ordering, and kitchen systems
  • Ability to successfully oversee multiple menus and service styles
  • Creative culinary approach balanced with strong operational discipline
  • Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
