Oncology - Radiation Physician

Position Responsibilities: Maintain and oversee the Radiation Oncology QA and Safety Program Implement, manage, and maintain all medical physics QA equipment and preventive maintenance Coordinate daily clinical physics coverage and provide emergency consultation when needed Ensure regulatory compliance with local, state, and federal standards Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists, Dosimetrists, and Therapists for safe, effective treatment planning Administer and oversee physics-related software, including TPS, MU calculation, and QA systems Perform daily, monthly, and annual QA on linear accelerators, CT simulators, and treatment planning systems Serve as primary contact for equipment issues, testing, downtime, and maintenance Oversee dosimetry operations, including IMRT and advanced planning reviews; perform dosimetry duties when needed Be present for all Hyper Arc, SBRT, SRS, SRT, and other high-dose procedures Commission and maintain Hyper Arc and stereotactic planning systems and manage related QA equipment Participate in weekly chart rounds and maintain accurate documentation Lead physics testing, credentialing, RTOG protocol participation, and new modality/program implementations
