Position: Assistant Speech and Debate Coach

Location: Lander Valley High School

Salary: $5,220

Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Description: Establishes a positive philosophy that promotes winning, character development and life skills, and good sportsmanship; Collaborates with the head coach to teach speech and debate fundamentals; Makes decisions based on best interest of the students and program; Maintains a positive relationship with students, parents, and other staff; Supervises students during travel and home competitions; Models good sportsmanship and professionalism; Teaches and upholds school and WHSAA rules & regulations.

Required Qualifications:

Speech and Debate coaching experience preferred; Ability to establish a positive relationship with students, parents, and other staff; Ability to supervise students and assist in directing the program; and
Ability to attend all practices and competitions.
