Cashier And Line Team MemberAs a cashier and line team member, you are Costa's point of purchase (POP)! It's a mission-critical position and arguably our most important touch point with "Costa-mers." So, we're looking for the best and brightest! Main responsibilities of a cashier: Managing orders Assisting guests with creating their Costa masterpiece, aka their delicious meal Accepting payments and providing receipts
Qualifications and skills:
- Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to interact in a positive and professional manner with guests and coworkers
- Willingness to learn all areas of restaurant operations & work multiple stations
- Summary of essential duties and responsibilities:
- Greeting guests when entering and leaving the premises
- Managing transactions using a cash register
- Light cleaning tasks on frontline and in dining room
- Accepting payments in cash, credit or check
- Providing change and receipts
- Issuing coupons, vouchers, stamps and gift cards
- Processing returns and refunds, and resolving customer complaints
