NOAA Research Vessel Captain Part-Time

Cardinal Point Captains, Inc. (CPC) seeks an experienced captain to provide vessel support for the NOAA CINMS in Santa Barbara, CA. The role operates on the 62’ Shearwater and 28’ Minke vessels, conducting scientific research, monitoring, and outreach missions while maintaining vessels. The ideal candidate will navigate and maintain small boats, respond to emergencies, and coordinate repairs. Requires USCG license (100t+), First Aid/CPR/AED, and NOAA vessel experience; travel may be involved.
