Commercial Food Equipment Technician

Job Description: This job is for a field service technician that will be responsible for work in both Illinois and Wisconsin. Applicants will be required to interview in the South Chicago suburbs even though this job is for North Chicagoland and Wisconsin. You must be at least 23 years old to be hired. This is due to insurance liability. Applicant must be able to lift at least 50 pounds, be able to drive longs distances, be able to stand, sit, kneel for prolonged periods of time. Applicant ABSOLUTELY MUST have a solid driving record. Our insurance carrier will inquire about your driving record and will review and approve or reject any potential hires. We will require all applicants to fill out a release in order for our Insurance carrier to review and approve or reject employment based on their MVR report. Applicant will be traveling from customer to customer in a company supplied vehicle, performing on site maintenance and repair of their equipment. (Focus on food cooking and prep equipment as well as motorized shopping equipment and cart retrieval).Applicant must be able to communicate well with others. Applicant must be available for overtime work at different times. Work is email dispatched and vehicles are GPS tracked. This means the applicant, if hired, will be working remote/satellite most of their time and in several locations each day.
