Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Responsibilities: Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for patients in the IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units according to clinical protocols. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including RNs, LPNs, and charge staff, to deliver seamless patient care. Monitor patient vital signs and responses to treatment, adjusting care plans as needed. Document patient progress accurately and promptly in the electronic medical record (EPIC preferred). Respond to patient emergencies, including neuro and trauma cases, with appropriate interventions. Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols, especially in a trauma and critical care setting.

Qualifications: Valid RN license in the state or complying with NLC guidelines. Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in ICU, Neuro, or Stepdown units; 3+ years preferred. Proven experience working in a Level I Trauma Center and handling neuro or trauma patients. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Current BLS certification; additional certifications such as ACLS are preferred. Prior travel nursing experience is highly desirable.
