Lead Sterile Processing Tech - Full Time - Mid Shift - 8hr ICH

Job Summary: Function as a lead technician by training technicians and monitoring compliance. Performs/assists scheduling staff. Serves as a resource to staff. Responsible for collection, decontamination, maintenance, assembly, sterilization, and distribution of instruments, supplies, and equipment needed for patient care. Collaborates with other members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care is provided. Takes an active role in quality control/assurance and process improvement. Will act as a team leader and assist with staff training/orientation by working with the SPD team educator and quality.
