About the Role: The Company is in search of a Vice President/General Manager to lead its Integrated Defense Solutions business area. The successful candidate will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for setting and executing the business strategy, particularly in the Navy, Army, and Federal/Civilian marketplace. This role demands a seasoned professional with a Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, business, or a related field, and a minimum of 15 years' relevant government contracting experience. The VP/GM will oversee all aspects of the business, including profit and loss, financial delivery, and customer satisfaction. They must have a proven track record in leading and growing related DoD, IT, and/or services business, as well as the ability to identify and build important customer relationships with senior officials in government agencies. Key responsibilities for the role include developing and executing a strategic business plan, achieving financial objectives, and leading the execution of existing programs while driving the growth of new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of DOD and Civilian government agencies, the ability to establish and meet performance objectives, and a strong focus on employee engagement and talent development. The role also requires the VP/GM to be a visible industry leader, representing the company at various events, and to ensure adherence to the company's ethical standards and business practices. A current Top Secret (TS) level clearance is mandatory, with the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance being preferred. The position demands a leader with excellent communication skills, the ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries, and a proven ability to lead large, geographically diverse teams.
