Northwell Health's Department of Neurology is seeking BC/BE Vascular/Stroke Neurologists to join our expanding multi-disciplinary team for full-time opportunities across Long Island, Manhattan, and Westchester. Physicians will join a leading stroke program featuring an extensive network of comprehensive stroke centers and opportunities for cutting-edge research and academic collaboration. Candidates will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment dedicated to delivering comprehensive, high-quality patient care. Practice InfoFull-time opportunities are available in Long Island (Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead, Mather Hospital in Port Jefferson), Manhattan (Lenox Hill Hospital), and Westchester (Northern Westchester Hospital, Phelps Hospital) Leading stroke program with the nation's most extensive system of comprehensive stroke centers, including 4 Comprehensive Stroke Programs, 11 Primary Stroke Centers, and a Thrombectomy-Capable CenterThree of our hospitals are ranked in the U.S. News & World Report Top 50, including North Shore University Hospital atVast network of 16 New York State-designated stroke centers ensuring access to cutting-edge research and treatment advances Multidisciplinary team comprised of physician assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, technicians, and support staff Academic affiliation with the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell Shift & Schedule Full-time
Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to advances in technology, education, and research
  • Engage with a large network of neurologists through grand rounds, conferences, and case discussions
  • CompensationCompetitive salaries with annual incentive compensation bonus
  • Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125,000 to $750,000, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience and productivity

Qualifications:
  • D. Degree from an accredited institution (ACGME or foreign program that is similarly appropriately accredited)
  • Completion of Neurology residency and Stroke/Vascular fellowship
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurology
  • Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed as a physician in the State of New York
