Director of Ticket Operations The Director of Ticket Operations oversees Ohio University Athletics' ticketing operations, serving as administrator of the athletics ticketing system and daily liaison to Learfield Amplify. The position manages ticket allocation, event setup, digital ticket and parking products, customer service, and game-day ticket operations for all ticketed athletic events. As the department's ticketing leader, the Director develops and improves operational processes, provides system training, supports donor and membership-related ticketing functions, and collaborates with Fan Engagement leadership to implement ticket sales strategies, pricing models, and revenue-generating initiatives. The Director is responsible for financial oversight and reporting, including reconciliation of ticket and parking revenues, preparation of revenue and attendance reports, and management of the ticket operations budget. The role also manages the relationship with Learfield Amplify, monitors performance against revenue goals, and serves as the primary escalation point for complex ticketing issues. In addition, the position hires, trains, supervises, and evaluates student ticket operations staff and ensures effective staffing and service for athletic events. Plans and manages administrative aspects of Ohio University Athletics operations, including program administration, human resources, financial operations, events, and compliance. Administers and manages Athletics budget and fiscal operations. Responsible for the development of department policies and procedures. Manages and resolves complex and ambiguous issues. Works on both strategic and operational challenges, addressing problems that require advanced knowledge and experience. Often takes on leadership roles in projects or initiatives. Provides mentorship and guidance to team. Infrequently has a limited number of direct reports. May have budgetary responsibility for small-scale projects or initiatives. Solves complex problems, often with limited guidance. Works independently; seeks guidance for unusual situations. Collaborates with team members and external departments. May represent the team in meetings with internal and external stakeholders. This role is primarily desk-based and involves extensive use of desktop computers. Occasionally, the job may require travel to attend meetings and programs. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5 or more years of related professional experience, or equivalent education and experience. Experience working with Paciolan ticketing software. Experience hiring and/or managing student staff.
