Manufacturing Technician IShift: Day, swing, and graveyard Availability changes based on demand The Manufacturing Technician I supports engineering teams by performing thermal measurements and qualification testing on rack-mounted computing products. This hands-on role involves test setup, data collection, and operating test equipment in both Linux and Windows environments. We're looking for someone who: Has a high school diploma Holds an associate degree in Engineering Technology or a skilled trade certification (preferred) Has hands-on experience with thermocouples and thermal measurement Is comfortable working in both Windows and Linux environments Has fluency using the Linux command line Has experience operating environmental chambers Has experience building or assembling personal computers Is mechanically inclined and comfortable using hand tools Demonstrates strong attention to detail and observational skills Can lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
What you'll do:
  • Perform temperature measurements by attaching thermocouples to electronic devices
  • Operate data acquisition equipment such as Keysight loggers
  • Run qualification and functional tests on products and equipment
  • Analyze system and product performance during testing
  • Assemble and disassemble prototypes using hand tools
  • Start, stop, and monitor test tools in Linux and Windows environments
  • Collect and organize test data logs and provide results to engineering team members
  • Program and operate environmental chambers for thermal testing
  • Observe, document, and report unexpected results or improvement opportunities
  • Inspect measurement tools and perform basic maintenance or replacement as needed
  • Review product designs to identify potential issues or errors
