Electrician

Role Description: The Electrician role at Tri Star Electric is a full-time, on-site position based in Denham Springs, LA. Day-to-day responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, and light industrial settings. The Electrician will read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams, perform diagnostics on electrical issues, and ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes. The role involves using hand and power tools safely, collaborating with team members and contractors, and communicating clearly with customers about work performed. The Electrician is expected to follow all safety protocols, maintain accurate records of work completed, and support project timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications: Candidates should possess strong knowledge of electricity and fundamental electrical principles. Candidates should possess skills in electrical work, including installation of wiring, fixtures, panels, and related components. Candidates should possess maintenance & repair skills for diagnosing and correcting issues in existing electrical systems. Candidates should possess troubleshooting abilities to identify root causes of electrical problems and implement effective solutions. Candidates should possess familiarity with electrical engineering concepts as they apply to practical field work and system design. Relevant state electrician license or certification, or progress toward licensure. Working knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes, and commitment to safety best practices. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation. Reliable transportation to job sites in and around Denham Springs, LA.Physical ability to lift equipment, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods. Strong attention to detail, time management, and teamwork skills. Prior experience as an electrician or electrical apprentice is strongly preferred.
