AEROSPACE ENGINEER

Job TitleSupport engineering activities related to aerodynamics, flight dynamics, and simulation of rotorcraft, including:Analysis and assessment of stability and control, and flying qualities.Develop plans to collect information and data related to flying qualities and flight dynamics for offline simulations, real-time piloted simulations and flight test activities.Review plans and results of wind tunnel, simulation and flight test development and demonstration programs, as well as the engineering data submittal requirements to support acquisition milestones.Propose and evaluate flight dynamics studies and assessments, monitor program progress and evaluate risk associated with schedule delays, specification compliance issues, and performance or technical anomalies.Demonstrate knowledge and good understanding of related air vehicle engineering fields such as flight controls, performance and aerodynamics, modeling and simulation, and flight testing.Be responsible for rotorcraft safety of flight matters for flight dynamics and related aerodynamics, including stability and control, where applicable.Ensure minimum safety standards are satisfied prior to providing flight clearance authorization for your responsible aircraft platforms.
