Key responsibilities:
Submit claims and respond to denials, ensuring compliance with billing guidelines
Perform insurance follow-up and collections, resolving discrepancies through various methods
Analyze patient invoices and accounts for clean claim submissions or re-bills, maintaining work queues and resolving payment issues
Required qualifications:
High School Degree
Two years of experience in hospital or physician insurance-related activities (Authorization, Billing, Follow-Up, Call-Center, or Collections)
Basic understanding of health insurance plans, policies, and procedures
