The position requires the following, but is not limited to: Work with commercial leases, operating costs and related correspondence. Analyze property management issues, review proposals, coordinate service/maintenance work and process invoices. Communicate with branch associates, contractors and management to carry out repairs and routine maintenance. Work with other departments in Auto-Owners real estate division, including facilities, security, and contract management. Assist in non-construction projects within the real estate division as needed.
Qualifications:
- Students should be enrolled and entering their junior or senior year in college. A major in facilities management, finance or real estate is preferred.
- Above-average communication skills (written and verbal)
- General understanding building management
- Ability to read and interpret floor plans
- Familiar with computer software such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Competency to learn new software tools
- Ability to handle multiple assignments
- Rate of PayRate of pay starts at $18.00 per hour.
