Key responsibilities:
Bill third-party payers and perform follow-up activities on assigned accounts to resolve issues
Identify and appeal denied claims while maintaining compliance with state and federal billing guidelines
Update account information and process adjustments within the Epic Resolute system
Required qualifications:
Two years of financial experience or one year of patient accounts experience
Experience with end-to-end Revenue Cycle operations, including billing and collections
Knowledge of insurance verification and claims processing
Familiarity with Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid payers
Experience with Epic or a comparable patient accounting/EHR system
