Preventative Maintenance Mechanic

Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM - 12:30 AM Pay Rate: $23-$26 per hour (based on experience) Shift Differential: Additional $3.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities: Perform preventative maintenance inspections and services on refuse trucks, trailers, and related equipment Conduct oil changes, lubrication, filter replacements, and basic mechanical adjustments Identify potential mechanical issues and communicate findings to lead mechanics or supervisors Maintain accurate maintenance and inspection records Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and DOT regulations Keep the shop and work areas clean, organized, and safe Support mechanics with additional duties as needed to minimize equipment downtime
