Emergency Route Driver

Our Mission: DSCC/KSC initiates, delivers, monitors, and coordinates services that promote the ability of older people to live their lives in dignity. DSCC/KSC is looking for a part-time Emergency Route Driver to deliver prepared meals to seniors in their own vehicle. An ideal candidate would be self-motivated, highly organized, and have customer service skills. Candidates who have worked in food handling service are a plus. Meals on Wheels Emergency Route Driver Responsibilities/Tasks: Maintains accurate records of participants and meals served as outlined by DSCC.Provide immediate assistance when needed based on the needs of the meal participant; offer to call a neighbor, friend, relative, or 911.Offers additional assistance to any clients who may be in need. Obeys all traffic laws and avoids erratic driving on either highways or residential areas. Attends all Nutrition Department meetings, in-services, training, and special events, including weekend events. Performs other duties as assigned
