What You'll Be Doing:
As a Supply Chain and Sales Intern, you will gain valuable, hands-on experience and work closely with our team of experienced professionals.
Key responsibilities include:
Supply Chain & Logistics Optimization: Analyze logistics networks, dispatch scheduling, and material movement (truck, rail, barge) to identify opportunities for route optimization, cost reduction, and timely delivery of aggregate products
Commercial & Market Analysis: Evaluate regional market trends, construction project pipelines, and competitor positioning to support product pricing strategies and sales growth.
Customer & Field Engagement: Join sales account managers on client visits and site tours across quarries, ready-mix plants, and customer job sites to understand customer needs and build relationship-management skills.
Demand Forecasting & Inventory Control: Collaborate with plant operations and sales teams to align product inventory levels with commercial sales forecasts, mitigating supply bottlenecks.
Safety Protocols: Assist in the implementation and monitoring of safety protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with Amrize standards.
Skill Application: Utilize a range of skills and knowledge in day-to-day operations, working collaboratively to achieve team and company goals.
Executive Presentation: At the end of your internship, you'll present your learnings and contributions to our executive leadership team.

- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program majoring in Supply Chain Management, Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Strong academic performance
- Geographic flexibility to work at various sites.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- High energy and a proactive approach to tackling new challenges.
- A team player who can collaborate across different levels of the organization.
- Willingness to spend significant time in the field, gaining hands-on experience and firsthand knowledge of our business operations.
- Schedule and Environment: Work Schedule: This is an onsite role with a mandatory 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday, working an 8-hour shift each day.
Work Environment:
You will be working in an office environment with opportunities to visit field sites. Transportation: You will be responsible for your own transportation to and from the worksite.
Travel Requirements:
You may need to travel for site tours, shadowing experiences, or intern events throughout the duration of your internship.
